Calculated NOx concentration for the total engine exhaust, prior to any aftertreatment of the exhaust. This parameter is primarily intended for engines that have separate NOx sensors in separate exhaust manifolds, but the engine does not have an NOx sensor in an exhaust line after combining the exhaust from the separate manifolds. This parameter represents the Nox concentration that would be measured by an NOx sensor in an exhaust line after combining the exhaust from the separate manifolds.Note: The individual NOx measurements for the separate exhaust manifolds are reported using the aftertreatment intake NOx parameters, such as SPN 3216 and SPN 3255. This SPN should not be used with engines with only one NOx sensor; instead, engines with only one NOx sensor should use SPN 3216.
