Description:

Value of set (chosen) velocity of velocity control system. See SPN 86 for an alternate resolution. If an algorithm that can modify the cruise control set point exists in the system, such as Predictive Cruise Control or Adaptive Cruise Control, then Cruise Control Set Speed (SPN 6809) will not include the speed adjustment made by that algorithm. For the parameter that includes the adjustment, see Cruise Control Speed (SPN 7319) for the final speed used by the cruise control algorithm.
