Description:

Indicates that the aftertreatment system is dosing in standard or reduced mode. Standard indicates that the system will dose at maximum capacity where the reduced mode will dose at minimum capacity (e.g., IMO 3 to IMO 2 in Marine Applications). 000b = Standard DEF Dosing Mode 001b = Reduced DEF Dosing Mode 010b = Reserved 011b = Reserved 100b = Reserved 101b = Reserved 110b = Error 111b = Not Available Note: In some marine applications it may be desirable to enable a reduced aftertreatment system operating mode. SPN 9176 indicates the mode of the aftertreatment system. Reference SPN 7851 for Aftertreatment System Enable Status. SPN 7851 must indicate Aftertreatment System is Enabled for Standard or Reduced mode operation.
