Hybrid Propulsion Mode Requested Distance

Description:

The requested distance to maintain a Hybrid Propulsion Mode (see SPN 7889) other than Mode 1 – Stored Energy Source Sustaining.When the distance is met, or a protective mode is activated (e.g. HVES charge is depleted while in Mode 5 – Stored Energy Source Only), the Hybrid Propulsion System is no longer required to maintain the selected mode (e.g. may revert back to Mode 1 as if SPN 7889 was received with Mode 1 requested). When SPN 7889 is changed, the value of Hybrid Propulsion Mode Requested Distance is used as the starting point for the countdown indicated in Hybrid Propulsion Mode Remaining Distance SPN (9709). A value of FB00h indicates that the sender supports this parameter, but there is currently no requested distance (e.g any requested distance should be set to default, or the requested mode should be maintained for as long as possible.) When a value of FFFFh is received the maximum distance is not supported by the sender and the distance is defined as unlimited or default as
