This parameter conveys the reason a device wants the engine to inhibit fuelling. This SPN is intended to be used in conjunction with Desired Engine Fueling State (SPN 5793). When a device sends Desired Engine Fueling State = « Fueling Not Desired », this SPN may be used to convey a reason for why the device desires the engine inhibit fuelling If more than one reason exists at the same time, the reason with highest importance (as defined by the device sending this parameter) is indicated. 0 = Desired Engine Fueling State (SPN 5793) from this device does not equal 00b 1 = Idle Shutdown Timer has expired 2 = External power source has been connected (shore power) 3 = Body builder – unspecified reason 4 = Engine Stop-Start 5 to 249 = SAE Reserved (for future reasons) 250 = Fueling is not desired due to unspecified reason 251 to 254 = SAE reserved 255 = Not supported
