WORKHORSE W42 7454 SPN Fault Code

Name:

Hybrid System High Voltage Exposure Indicator

Description:

This signal indicates the condition and state of the the hybrid system or electric vehicle system high voltage exposure detection system (e.g. High Voltage Interlock Loop [HVIL]). The high voltage exposure detection system is used to detect situations on a vehicle where personnel or property may be exposed to high voltage. The Error state indicates that the detection system may not be operational, and exposure status cannot be determined. For example, the detection system may not be operational due to electrical issues detected within its circuitry (e.g. short to battery, short to ground) or it has been intentionally disabled. 00b = System is operational and intact; no potential high voltage exposure has been detected 01b = System is operational and has detected a compromise; potential high voltage exposure exists 10b = Error 11b = Not Available
