Longitudinal Acceleration

Description:

Indicates the longitudinal acceleration of the vehicle. A positive longitudinal acceleration signal results when the vehicle speed increases, regardless of driving the vehicle forward or backward. This parameter is applicable to vehicle speed measurement systems, such as passive wheel speed sensors, that are not capable of determining the direction of the vehicle motion.
