Description:

All or part of the diesel exhaust fluid system (DEF tank, DEF supply lines, DEF pump, and DEF doser, etc.) in bank 1 is frozen.In situations where it is desired to report the DEF system frozen as a faulted condition, FMI 31 can be used with this SPN in diagnostic messages. A value of 01b for this parameter does not necessarily mean that a faulted condition exists. But if this SPN is included in a DTC to report a faulted condition, such as the system is frozen and can�t be thawed, then this parameter would be expected to be 01b. 00b = DEF system is not frozen 01b = DEF system is frozen 10b = Error 11b = Not available
