PEMS Engine Fuel Mass Flow Rate shall indicate the amount of fuel consumed by the engine per unit of time (does not include fuel injected directly into the aftertreatment system, but does include fuel injected into the engine cylinders for the purpose of being used in the aftertreatment system), in grams per second.PEMS Engine Fuel Mass Flow Rate shall be calculated as the sum of the fuel consumed over the last one second prior to the time when PEMS Engine Fuel Mass Flow Rate is updated. NOTE: PEMS Engine Fuel Mass Flow Rate shall indicate zero g/s when the engine is not running.
