Description:

The location of monitored tire on the vehicle. The high order 4 bits indicate the vehicle axle position of the tire, counting front to back on the vehicle, with the value 0 representing the front axle on the vehicle. If the upper 4 bits have a value of 0 to 13 it implies axle position, however 14 (Eh) would mean use these settings (other SPNs in tire configuration command information) for all axles. The low order 4 bits indicate the position of the tire along the axle, counting left to right when facing in the direction of normal vehicle travel (forward), with the value 0 representing the left most tire position on the axle. If the lower 4 bits have a value of 0 to 13 it implies tire position along the axle, however 14 (Eh) would mean use these settings (other SPNs in tire configuration command information) for all tires on the specified axle. The value EEh indicates configure all tires identically on all axles. The value FFh indicates unavailable. It is recommended that output devices
