Description:

The location of monitored tire on the vehicle. The high order 4 bits indicate the vehicle axle position of the tire, counting front to back on the vehicle, with the value 0 representing the front axle on the vehicle. If the upper 4 bits have a value of 0 to 13 it implies axle position, however 14 (Eh) would mean use these settings (other SPNs in tire configuration command information) for all axles. The low order 4 bits indicate the position of the tire along the axle, counting left to right when facing in the direction of normal vehicle travel (forward), with the value 0 representing the left most tire position on the axle. If the lower 4 bits have a value of 0 to 13 it implies tire position along the axle, however 14 (Eh) would mean use these settings (other SPNs in tire configuration command information) for all tires on the specified axle.
