7428 SPN Fault Code

Name:

Operator Inducement Time to Torque Derate Level 2

Description:

This parameter provides the time until Operator Inducement Torque Derate Level 2 (SPN 7427) is activated. When operator inducement is not active or if a second level of derate does not exist, then this parameter will be set to FB00h. For systems where SPN 5246 or SPN 5826 are supported, operator inducement is active if at least one of SPN 5246 or SPN 5826 is not equal to 000b. If SPN 7428 has decremented to 0, it will remain at 0 until the condition that caused it to decrement has been corrected. This parameter is expected to be a greater than Operator Inducement Time to Torque Derate Level 1 (SPN 7426) if the current inducement event will impose a second torque derate level. See SPN 7719 for the time until final inducement action. If the operator inducement has been temporarily overridden, then this parameter will pause and not decrement until the override is removed. or systems where SPN 5246 or SPN 5826 are supported, operator inducement is active if at least one of SPN 5246 or SPN
