Hybrid System Shutdown Switch

Description:

When the operator enables this switch, all hybrid system functionality is disabled including propulsion, regenerative braking, and hybrid powered accessories. For electric hybrids, the hybrid system shall be placed in an electrically off state where high voltage is isolated to energy storage devices only (e.g. open contactors, discharge capacitive energy). One use of this switch is as an emergency stop capability.Note: Engine operation is still allowed. 00b = Off; hybrid system may operate normally. 01b = On; hybrid system functionality is not allowed. 10b = Error 11b = Not Available
