This signal represents the number of times the contactors inside the High Voltage Energy Storage 1 pack (or system) have opened while current is flowing through them. The current level (that determines if an opening event will be counted) shall be defined by the HVES manufacturer, but in general should be a current level at which the contactor life may be reduced if repeated cycles occur.
