Description:

Identifies the command or action being commanded to the target Configurable ECU of this instance of PGN 28160.0000b = Request Port Receive Status – Identifies the message as a request for the list of configurable receive SPNs on the port identified in SPN 8837 and their current receive status. All bits in SPN 8839, SPN 8840, and SPN 8841 shall be set to 1 by the sender and will be ignored by the receiver. 0001b = Configure Port Receive State – Identifies the message as a request to configure the receive behaviors of one or more SPNs on the port identified in SPN 8837. SPN 8839, SPN 8840, and SPN 8841 are used to specify each SPN, its desired receive capability, and the source address of the device that will provide each SPN. The sender of this message only needs to include SPNs that are to have their receive capability changed.
