3376 SPN Fault Code

Name:

Voltage Regulator VAr/Power Factor operating mode

Description:

State signal indicating the operating mode for the Voltage regulator VAr/Power Factor 000b = VAr/Power Factor regulation disabled 001b = Power factor regulation enabled 010b = VAr regulation enabled 011b = Reserved 100b = Reserved 101b = Reserved 110b = Reserved 111b = Not available Note: This parameter sets the mode of regulation for the voltage regulator. The voltage regulator can regulate the generator AC output voltage by using the generator AC output voltage, the generator power factor, or the generator reactive power (VAr). The generator AC output voltage, the generator power factor, and the generator reactive power (VAr) are defined in SAE J1939 – 75

3376 spn fault code name is Voltage Regulator VAr/Power Factor operating mode. If you don't take the time to look into 3376 spn fault when it arises, it can add up quickly. One small issue like 3376 can cause a larger component to become damaged without taking the time to investigate. If you suspect your truck is suffering from one of these issues, look into replacing those small components to save money down the road.

Note: The name and description of 3376 code represents text descriptions for faults supported by another coding system and does not necessarily comply with SAE J1939. For a specific engine manufacturer's explanation for codes, please consult the engine's technical manual. See also other spn codes.
